OUR ADOPTION PROCESS
Thank you for your interest in adopting from Rescue4All and for choosing to help us save lives! We are very thorough with our application process & only approved applicants can meet our available animals.

Only APPROVED ADOPTERS are able to meet our dogs.

The Rescue4All Refuge is not open to the public.

We DO NOT allow for any of our animals to be "outside animals" we believe that pets are family and should be part of the family inside the home, where they are warm & safe.

We DO NOT adopt to homes who have unspayed/unneutered animals. **WE DO NOT MAKE EXCEPTIONS**

We DO NOT allow puppies who are not fully vaccinated to be adopted to individuals who do not have a fully fenced yard OR who live in multi-family, apartment, condo, townhomes, etc that have communal/public animal areas due to the significant & deadly risk of ParvoVirus & Canine Distemper.
Our number one priority is to ensure that the dog we entrust to you is a good fit for your lifestyle, home environment, needs, wants, and expectations AND to find the best forever home for each dog that comes into Rescue4All.
We reserve the right to choose to which applications to move forward with and which not to. We reserve the right stop the process at any time.
It is imperative that you complete the entire application and be 100% open and honest. It is best to be completely upfront. We will not respond to incomplete applications. We do verify the information provided. Only applicants that are best suited for the animal will be considered and will proceed to the next step of the adoption process.

We require you to fill out our adoption application to help us to get to know you, your living situation and what you are looking for in a pet. It will also help us to make sure the animal that you are interested in it the best fit for you and your life.
We carefully screen all potential adopters and will only place our animals with the best home possible for them.
If you are interested in potentially adopting YOU MUST follow these instructions:

2.) Then fill out an online application from your laptop or desktop computer or click the link for the mobile friendly version.

Our adoption process is in-depth and comprehensive.
- Your application is our first impression of you so make sure that you dedicate the attention and time to fully complete the entire application with accurate information.
- We will not respond to incomplete applications.

We are a volunteer run foster home based rescue and we will process your application as quickly as we can, but we ask you to be patient if it takes longer than you’d like. Typically 7-14 days. Our Adoption Coordinator will contact you via email.

If you have submitted an application **PLEASE CHECK YOUR SPAM/JUNK EMAIL** sometimes our emails get filtered into junk/spam.

We require that you and all individuals living in the home must meet the R4A animal.

We require that if you currently own animals that they are spayed or neutered, and they must meet your prospective new pet. **We will ensure proper introductions are done between the animals and to ensure they will be able to coexist with one another.

We do allow for out of state adoptions and to Canada, however, we do require adopters to come in person to meet the dog in person. We not allow our dogs to fly cargo or be transported by anyone except the approved adopters.

You must be at least 18 years of age.

You must show a picture ID with your current address.

You must show proof from landlord that it is okay to have an animal or home ownership for adoption.

In order to ensure that we do our best to set up our dog/puppy and new adopter for success, we require all adopters to enroll in one of Method K9 Online Training Courses based on age: Puppy Jump Start Course or Basic Foundation. We do offer a discount off of the adoption fee with verification of enrollment.
What is included in the Adoption Fees?
All of our Animals will have the following Veterinary care prior to adoption:

Spay or Neuter Surgery

Microchip
-
Vaccinations (1st DHPP Vaccine at minimum)

Rabies Vaccination (if old enough)

Deworming treatment (at least one)
Our Adoption Fees are:

$325.00 - 8 weeks to 6 months

$250.00 - 7 months to 11 months

$150.00 - 1yr and over
The adoption fees help us to cover a small portion of the veterinary, training and foster expenses each animal receives while they are in the care of Rescue4All. Accepted forms of payment include: cash, check, Venmo, CashApp, or PayPal. Payable to Rescue4All. Our adoption fees are Non-Refundable.
