Lincoln is our Megaesophagus miracle survivor. He came to us at 8 weeks old needing a peg tube and serious intervention to save his life. After a month at WSU and life saving surgery he is living his best life out at the refuge.

Polly came to us with her litter mates the summer of 2020. While her mother and siblings all found forever homes, Polly has remained at the refuge as she prefers the company of dogs over humans. She is Besties with Ellie Mae.

Clifford came to us in 2019 after being seized from a horrible abuse case. He spent the first 5 years of his life stuck in a crate that was to small for his big body. He takes time to warm up to strangers, but gives those he truest amazing hugs. Just don't touch his feet or his food.

Thunder was surrendered to us along with his sister Skye after spending the first 7 months of his life chained to a tree outside. While his sister found her forever family, Thunder prefers life at the refuge.

Burlington was part of the Hostetler puppy mill/abuse seizure back in 2017. He spent his entire life outside and experienced horrendous abuse. He is a quirky guy who loves affection from humans and is living his best life out at the refuge.

Greyson has been with us since 2018 after spending the first 2 years of his life being in and out of shelters dues to his reactivity and barrier guarding. He is still wary of humans and continued to live his best life at the refuge.

Liv along with her mother and siblings came to us winter 2022 after she was shot in the head and left for dead. While she survived, she has some affects due to her brain injury and has left her very wary of humans.

Ryder was surrendered to us back in 2020 and we have been working with him since to be comfortable around strangers, getting his feet touched, and being ok with vet visits.

Austin is a stage 5 clinger with some reactivity and wariness around strangers. He came to Spokane via Texas from a hording situation and had very little human interaction. He was heartworm positive but has since been cleared.
